Built to be trusted with a declaration

A customs declaration is a legal document, and an agent's licence stands behind it. Here, in plain language, is how Maxline earns that responsibility.

The AI suggests — it never invents figures

Maxline reads your documents and suggests the HS code, always with a confidence score and its source. It does not compute the duty. Duty, VAT and levies are applied by ASYCUDA itself, from the HS code — exactly as today. Classification accuracy, confirmed by a licensed agent, is what we are accountable for.

A licensed agent approves every declaration

Nothing reaches ASYCUDA autonomously. A licensed clearing agent reviews, corrects and approves every declaration before it is submitted — on a desktop or a phone. The agent remains the accountable professional of record, exactly as the law requires. There are no autonomous submissions, by design, permanently.

Your documents and data are protected

Documents and data are encrypted in transit and at rest, and held under least-privilege access controls — only you, your authorised agent, and the processing that prepares your declaration can reach them. Identifying business information is never used to train shared AI models.

Where it is hosted

Maxline runs on Google Cloud and Firebase, with multi-region redundancy and automated backups. Infrastructure is operated to current cloud security practice; processing is auditable end to end.

A full audit trail

Every step is logged and exportable: each field extraction, every HS-code suggestion and its confidence, every correction the agent makes, and the final approval. If a declaration is ever queried, the complete history is there.

Accuracy you can inspect

Every AI suggestion carries a confidence score, so the agent always knows where to look hardest. Repeat shipments are fast-tracked with changes highlighted; new clients, unusual goods or high values are flagged for careful review — speed never replaces diligence.

Our certification roadmap — honestly stated

We will not display a badge we have not earned. Maxline is early, and we would rather tell you exactly where we are than imply otherwise:

  • Today: encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, full audit trail, and the agent-approval guarantee above — in production now.
  • In progress: alignment toward ISO/IEC 27001 information-security practices as we mature, with formal certification a stated intention — not a current claim.
  • With SRC: any integration with the national ASYCUDA system would proceed only through a supervised, sandbox-first pilot — nothing touches production customs systems without the Revenue Commission's agreement.
